Worcestershire Royal Hospital

Mr Sadiq will perform all complex surgery at Worcestershire Royal Hospital so that complex patients undergoing difficult medical care can benefit from High Dependency Care Unit provided by the multidisciplinary team of Anaesthetists and Nurses.

He specialises in use of nails, external fixators, Ilizarov and Taylor Spatial frame for difficult fractures. Mr Sadiq also had extensive training in lower limb joint arthroplasty and revision surgery in Wrightington and at Hammesmith Hospital, London. He has specialist training in both cemented and un-cemented hip arthroplasty and use of un-cemented long stems in revision arthroplasty surgery. He has keen interest in the management of bone infection and infected arthroplasty of hip and knee. I believe that the cemented hip arthroplasty is still the gold standard for hip and knee arthroplasty surgery. His research interests are fracture healing and articular cartilage injury, fragility fractures and computer navigation for trauma surgery.
